Overview

Angsana Velavaru is a diver’s paradise. Located in the barely touched South Nilandhe Atoll, this beautiful retreat is close by to more than 30 stunning dive sites, and offers complimentary daily guided snorkelling trips.

The slow-paced island lifestyle and astonishing surrounds are the resort’s focal point. Each of the beachside villas offer unsurpassable views of the Indian Ocean, alongside natural roofs and local Maldivian artwork inside. We particularly love the InOcean villas – each boast a rooftop area, a private pool where you can enjoy a floating breakfast and a hammock over the lagoon.

This is a family-friendly resort, and there are lots of lovely island activities for young guests to enjoy. Watch the pure joy on their faces as they learn to blow bubbles in the lagoon, or hear excitable stories about their day at the kid's club. One hut features a master bedroom with king size bed, then other features a living room that can be converted into a bedroom. Family Three Bedroom Pool Villa – 473sqm villa consisting of two huts, totalling at an impressive three bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a separate dining room. Azzurro Restaurant & Bar – A lovely all-day dining restaurant serving Mediterranean delights. Dress code: smart casual. Open 7.30am-10.30am, 12.30pm-2pm and 7pm-10pm. The main Restaurant & Bar reserved for InOceanvilla guests. Available to Land Guests at a supplement when seating is available.
Kaani Restaurant – A charming beachside restaurant serving around-the-world cuisine all day. Dress code: smart casual. Open 7.30am-10.30am, 12.30pm-2pm and 6.30pm-9.30pm. The main Restaurant for Land Villa Guests and available to all guests.
Kuredhi Restaurant, Bar and Gallery – A romantic yet laidback cocktail bar. Dress code: smart casual. Open 10.30am-11pm. Available to all guests.
Magoo Garden – A fun open-air Maldivian market experience with live cooking stations and a variety of Asian and Western cuisines. Relying on fresh supplies from local fishermen. Dress code: casual. Open when supply allows from 6.30pm-9.30pm. Available to all guests as an option for Destination Dining, supplement required.
Funa Club Lounge – Serves both as Lounge and Thai Restaurant. A trendy spot open four times a week from 6.30pm-10pm*. Included in All Inclusive Style package and All Inclusive Max package (reservation required). *When Funa Club Lounge is closed, Lounge benefits are available at Kuredhi Restaurant, Bar and Gallery and Azzurro Restaurant & Bar.
