Hanoi
Once you arrive at Noi Bai International Airport, you’ll be met by your driver and transferred to your hotel. Take this time to rest before an exciting tour ahead.

Day 2
Hanoi
Spend the day enjoying a wonderful full-day tour of city. The tour takes you around some fascinating attractions, including the Ho Chi Minh Complex home to Ho Chi’s Mausoleum and Stilts House, plus the Presidential Palace and the One Pillar Pagoda. You’ll also wander around the Old Quarter, the Lake of the Resorted Sword, Ngoc Son Temple, the Temple of Literature and tranquil West Lake. The tour ends with Tran Quoc Pagoda, Quan Thanh Temple and one of Hanoi’s interesting museums – either the History Museum or Ethnology Museum.
This evening is a fun one. You’ll enjoy the vibrant Quintessence of Tonkin show – an outdoor show that displays Vietnam’s colourful culture in a modern way with a depiction of the Red River Delta.

Day 3
Hanoi – Halong
You’ll be picked up from your hotel by private car at 7.30am, to arrive at the jetty around 12.30pm. Then begins your cruise along Halong Bay, enjoying a delicious lunch as you marvel at the glistening limestone islands that jut out of the water. In the afternoon, you’ll relish a short trek to a nearby summit for incredible views of the bay, with the opportunity to swim on a quiet beach or sunbathe on the sundeck.
After relaxing, your guide will take you to a local fishing village to meet fisherman who have lived in the bay for almost three generations – a fascinating experience. Once back on the boat, you’ll be treated to lovely cocktails and a gorgeous sunset, alongside a decadent dinner and an overnight stay on board.

Day 4
Halong – Hanoi – Danang – Hoi An
Get your day off to a relaxing start with a tai chi lesson, overlooking the sunrise. After filling up with breakfast, you’ll visit an alluring limestone grotto before sailing back to the dock. From there, you’ll be driven to Hanoi airport for your flight to Danang, where you’ll be transferred to your hotel in Hoi An.

Day 7
Ho Chi Minh City
You’ll be driven to Danang Airport this morning, where you’ll take a short flight to Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) and transfer to your hotel.
In the afternoon, you’ll be taken on a brilliant tour of the city, taking in iconic sights such as the Reunification Palace, the Old Post Office, the Notre Dame Cathedral, Jade Emperor Pagoda, Ben Thanh Market and the War Remnants Museum.

Day 8
Cu Chi Tunnels
It’s an early start this morning, meeting your guide at 7am for your transfer to the speedboat at Tan Cang pier. Once on board the speedboat, you’ll enjoy a light breakfast and iced coffee as you speed across the water and marvel at the lush jungle views. Travelling in this way means that you’ll reach the Cu Chi Tunnels before the big bus tours arrive, giving you a quieter experience as you explore the tunnel.
After a brief introductory video, you’ll enjoy a fascinating tour of the site, including weapon and booby trap exhibitions, the Viet Cong tunnel, underground bunkers, a firing range and more. We recommend trying a taste of the local cassava root, which sustained the Viet Cong fighters for years.
Next is a traditional Vietnamese lunch by the river, including divine Vietnamese soup and fried spring rolls, before your speedboat back to Saigon.

Day 9
Mekong Delta
After a hearty breakfast, you will transfer to the Cai Be jetty to board the Cai Be Princess sampan. Sailing towards Tan Phong Islet, you’ll enjoy a refreshing drink as you observe life along the river, including beautiful views of the verdant landscape and locals getting on with their day.
Upon arrival at Tan Phong Islet, you’ll enjoy a delightful cycling trip through the fruit gardens and colourful villages, looking out for the islet’s special fruit – the sweet, red and spiky rambutan. Other stops include visits to local cottage industries, where you’ll meet families making everything from rice flour cakes and rice paper, to coconut frond roof panels and homeware created with water hyacinths.
Next up is a trip on board a rowing sampan, guiding you through narrow canals back to the awaiting Cai Be Princess, which will continue on to the village of Phu An. Here you’ll find Longanier Restaurant, a colonial-style villa surrounded by lush fruit trees and offering an insight into how the privileged class lived in Indochina times. After lunch, you’ll walk towards Ba Bon Bridge where your personal car will meet you to drive you back to Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 10
Siem Reap
Take a flight to Siem Reap and transfer to your hotel. Later in the afternoon, you’ll board the Kongkear Angkor – a traditional Khmer boat service in Angkor archaeological park. Whilst cruising along the waterway, you’ll discover the park’s iconic scenes, including Angkor Thom, the Royal Secret Path and the City Guard Post, before being greeted with a beautiful sunset at the Great wall.

Day 11
Angkor
Enjoy a full-day tour of the Angkor area today, including the South Gate of Angkor Thom – renowned for its colossal human faces carved in stone, the Bayon Temple, Phimeanakas, the Elephant Terrace, the Royal Enclosure, the Terrace of the Leper King and the largest temple of Angkor Wat. One of the biggest highlights is visiting Ta Prohm, an impressive temple covered in jungle flora, including towering fig trees and creepers that wind around the stone foundations.

Day 12
Siem Reap
After breakfast, you will discover the charming floating village of Kompong Pluk, boarding a wood boat for a closer look at the Cambodian houses on stilts and the flooded forest. The boat ride ends with an exploration of Tonle Sap lake to watch fishermen go about their day. Back on land, you’ll visit the Chantiers Ecoles – Les Artisans d’Angkor – an initiative that provides workshops for young Cambodians to revive the ancient Khmer traditions of stone carving and wood sculpting.

Day 13
Luang Prabang
Spend the day relaxing and exploring at your leisure, before your late afternoon flight to Luang Prabang.

Day 14
Luang Prabang
You have the opportunity to experience Laos’ most special and sacred tradition today. Wake as the sun rises to take part in the morning alms giving, where more than 200 Bhuddist monks leave their temple to receive a daily meal from the faithful residents waiting quietly on the streets – a daily ritual that dates back to the 14th century. Afterwards, you’ll continue on to the temporary morning market that takes place at the former Royal Palace, to take in the sights and smells of fresh vegetables and fish.
Next up is the Royal Palace Museum, built in 1904 for King Sisavang Vong and his family. You’ll then enjoy a cruise along the Mekong River to the Pak Ou Caves – two linked caves adorned with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues left by pilgrims. You’ll also stop by the village of Ban Xanghai to see how they make local rice wine.
Back in the city, you’ll visit the Wat Xiengthong to discover a magnificent piece of Lao temple architecture – the ornate mosaics are stunning, especially the ‘tree of life’ glass montage on the rear temple wall. From there, you’ll continue to Wat Prabath for a wonderful sunset, before a lively trip to the famous Night Market, where you can shop for handmade textiles created by the local people.

Day 15
Nahm Dong Park
It’s an early start today, leaving your hotel at 8.30am to transfer to Nahm Dong Park, located in Ban Xiengmouk. Once there, you’ll join in with an exciting cooking class, giving you the chance to try traditional Laos cuisine, including learning the techniques and recipes and picking your own ingredients in the gardens.
Your lunch will be served with what you’ve created – a minimum of five delicious dishes. This will get your ready and fuelled for a wander through the park in the afternoon, marvelling as the natural pools and lush scenery – you could even have a splash in the pools.

Luang Prabang
Today marks the end of your tour. You will be transferred to the airport for your ongoing flight.
