  • Layan beach - Spend a sun-kissed day on this beach, just 5 minutes taxi ride from The Pavilions, at the northern end of Bang Tao beach where the beach meets a river and a lagoon. The area is home to many birds and other wildlife who enjoy the peace of the lagoon

  • Bang Tao Beach Shopping: Some of the island’s best finds for antiques and other treasures can be found at Laguna’s Canal Village and in the rows of shops just outside the Laguna entrance. The open-air village markets are also worth visiting, if only to take in the sights and sounds of a typical Thai bazaar. A huge range is on sale including fruit and vegetables, fresh meat and fish, clothes, delicious local snacks, toys, shoes and more. Cherng Talay market is open on Wednesdays and Sundays.
  • Island Hopping: Phi Phi Islands are some of Thailand’s best known islands and a “must-see”. Equally captivating above and below water, its six islands richly deserve their reputation as “The jewels of the Andaman Sea”. A day tour from the mainland will take you to world-famous beaches such as Maya Bay, where the movie “The Beach” was set, the pristine white sand and turquoise water of Bamboo Island, as well as snorkelling in colourful coral gardens around Hin Klang and monkey Bay.

Children under age of 16 years old are not recommended.

Renovations
The Pavilions Phuket Firefly restaurant will close for renovation on 1st September 2024 for a total of 8 weeks. During this time, all meal services will be temporarily relocated to ALTO Restaurant.

The swimming pool as well as the nearby Spa lap pool will remain open as usual. Noise and disturbance is expected to be minimal as the majority of the work to take place is cosmetic. This work includes relaying the floor, redecorating walls, installing new buffet stations, adjusting lighting and replacing all tables and chairs. The restaurant will be screened off during this time.
