You’ll need to fly in to Malaysia’s main hub airport in Kuala Lumpur and then take a domestic flight to Langkawi International Airport.

As there is basically no public transport anywhere in the archipelago, you have to either use taxis or rent a car or motorbike. Taxis are quite pricey
