Days 1-3

Canggu

Start your Balinese journey in Canggu, a newly emerging resort area away from the international crowds of nearby Kuta, at the exotic and whimsical Hotel Tugu, as much a museum of Balinese art and culture as it is a boutique hotel. Spend 3 nights on the beach, enjoying the resort facilities and natural surroundings.

Days 4-6

Ubud

On day 4 take a private transfer inland to the must-see destination of Ubud with its cultural charms, rice terraces, temples, shopping and all manor of outdoor activities. Your base in Ubud is Wapa Di Ume, situated in a rice paddy field, close to Ubud's restaurants, shops and markets.

Days 7-11

Tembok

A private driver will collect you for a scenic drive north to an unspoilt area on the north coast to stay in the gorgeous Spa Village Resort Tembok. This is a place of peacefulness and calm, combining the therapeutic value of it’s beautiful location with an ancient and rich cultural heritage. Nyepi Day

Nyepi Day takes place for one day in March, and is an important Hindu celebration marking the Balinese New Year.  Meaning “Day of Silence” this is a day of reflection and any activity that may prevent that is prohibited. The day is marked with a public holiday and restrictions are imposed on any kind of noise, travel, entertainment or work. Although tourists are free to do as they wish within hotels, nobody is allowed to leave the hotel premises between the hours of 6am and 6am the following day. Hotels will remain operational but with limited staff and Bali airport will remain closed.
