Overview

Set on a 750-foot crescent of pure white sand beach, the Tamarind is your own luxurious haven on the West Coast of Barbados. Vacations here are everything you could hope for, whether you’re planning a couples retreat or a fun-filled family getaway. Dress Code for breakfast
Shirts and footwear are required at breakfast.  Appropriate cover ups required over swimwear.

Elegantly Casual -  tailored knee-length shorts and jeans accepted, no caps, sleeveless tank tops, t-shirts, beachwear, board shorts, cargo shorts or flip flops allowed.

 

Taste of Elegance Dinearound Plan:
Guests staying at Crystal Cove, Turtle Beach, Tamarind, Treasure Beach or Waves Hotel & Spa can enjoy free exchange dining between these hotels. To dine between the hotels, guests simply need to speak with the Front Desk of the hotel where they are staying in order to make dining reservations at the other property.

Please note that "The Restaurant", previoulsy known as Daphne's, is not part of Tamarind and therefore not included in the All Inclusive plan.  However, all guests of Elegant Hotels can enjoy 1 complimentary Watermelon Martini at "The Restaurant". The complimentary martini is valid for a minimum 2 course meal per adult which must include a main course. Valid Hotel ID is required.

Honeymoon couples receive a bottle of sparkling wine and flower petals in room on day of arrival.

A mandatory government levy of BDS$19.25 per bedroom per night (approx US$9.65) must be settled by the guest upon check-out from the hotel.  Levy is subject to change.

Elegant Hotels renovation programme
Tamarind will be undergoing renovation from June 2024 with a planned reopening date of 1st October 2025.  The resort will be fully closed throughout.
Upon reopening, Tamarind will be part of Marriott's Autograph Collection® Hotels.
