The Verandah, Antigua
Overview
Bordering the Devil’s Bridge National Park on Antigua’s stunning Northeast Coast, The Verandah is a fabulous 30-acre adults-only all-inclusive resort.
Welcomed with a glass of delicious fruit punch, you’ll feel utterly relaxed from your first moment at the resort. The Verandah feels wonderfully spacious and tranquil, with three pools and two white sand beaches, as well as opportunities to play tennis, go kayaking or even enjoy a trip on a catamaran.
We like the variety of dining options: there are five restaurants - SeaBreeze - with a wide range of buffet options, Portofino Italian Restaurant -offering a la carte dining with classic dishes, Papa Ricco's Pizzeria for a more informal option, and Nicole’s - if you’d prefer fine-dining, and Sails and Tales Bar & Grill - offering you snacks and meals with a fantastic bay view. The adjacent national park offers nature trails, making The Verandah perfect for wildlife-lovers. And if you ever want a secluded escape from the resort, the uninhabited sanctuaries of Bird Island and Green Island are only a short boat trip away.
Top Tip: We think it’s well worth making a reservation at Buccaneer for a cosier dining experience – you’ll need to do this the day before. Alternatively, pay the supplement for Nicole’s for an intimate night.
The Verandah is one of an excellent range of Elite Island Resorts properties.
Please note - this is an adults only property - all guests must be aged 16 years or over.
