Day 1
You will be met at Nairobi International Airport and transferred to your hotel. You will be able to relax for the evening and acclimatise ready to start your safari in the morning.

Day 2
You will have a full day in Nairobi visiting the giraffe centre followed by a visit to the Karen Blixen Museum with lunch afterwards. After lunch, head back to your accommodation to relax.
With Option A you will be staying in the Nairobi National Park so will also enjoy a short game drive

Day 3
After an early breakfast, you will be transferred to Wilson Airport for your short hour long flight to Amboseli. You will get to camp in time for lunch, relaxation and then out for your afternoon game drive. Enjoy your first sundowner before returning to camp to refresh and enjoy your dinner with the noise of the wild echoing in your ears.

Day 4
You will have a full day to experience the Amboseli eco system. Game drives will usually be in the morning and afternoon, but if you want a fuller day with a pic nic this may well be possible to agree the night before giving you a full day in the wild.

Day 5
After a last game drive or leisurely breakfast its time to head to Meru. You will be transferred to the airstrip for your flight through Wilson up to Meru. Flying time is usually around two hours.
On arrival you will be transferred to camp in time for lunch, refresh and relax. You will take your first game drive in the afternoon soon spotting your first White and Black Rhino.

Day 6
A full day in Meru will start with an early morning game drive with breakfast back at camp mid morning. Relax around the pool and then head out for your afternoon game drive exploring different areas of the game park with a sundowner to finish a perfect day.

Day 7
A full day in Meru again will start with an early morning game drive with breakfast back at camp mid morning. Relax around the pool and then head out for your afternoon game drive exploring different areas of the game park with a sundowner to finish a perfect day. Today is a good day to try a bush walk and perhaps visit the grave of Elsa the Lioness – immortalised in the Born Free novel by Joy Adams.

Day 8
Its time to head to the Mara for your indulgent four days in this prime location. After breakfast head to the airstrip for your flight to the Mara. This takes around 1 and a half hours. You will be met and again taken to camp to enjoy lunch. Relax until mid afternoon and take your first game drive in search of the big cats.

Day 9
A full day in the Mara ecosystem usually will have a morning and afternoon game drive. If you would prefer a full day with pic nic lunch you can arrange this with your guide the night before. Perhaps you would prefer a more leisurely start with a relaxed breakfast and head our afterwards – simply chat it through with your guide the night before.

Day 10
This morning it is a super early, and we mean early, start to head for your take off point for your balloon safari. Your flight will last around an hour and will mostly be at low altitudes allowing you to see the resident wildlife from an incredibly privileged elevated view. You will then ascend as the sun rises to peacefully survey the vast Mara plains. This is a truly memorable experience.
On landing you will be transported a short distance to your bush breakfast. Again an experience you will not forget.
Head back to camp to relax before an evening game drive.

Day 11
Your last full day on safari. You will know your driver guide really well by now so will have a short list of the wildlife you have not seen yet – or the encounters you want to repeat. Despite the unpredictability of the wildlife moving around, your driver and guide will do their utmost to give you the experience you wish. Enjoy your last meals under the African skies and stars today before its time to move onwards tomorrow.

Day 12
After a last Gamedrive and breakfast it is off to the airstrip for your short one hour flight to Nairobi Wilson. From here you are well set for your onwards journey to the beach or simply back to home.
